2021 Scholastic Art Awards Virtual Exhibit Now Open! Take a Virtual Tour, Here

In December, we announced the Lorain City Schools middle school students whose art has been recognized, and awarded, as part of the 53rd annual Lorain County Region Scholastic Art Exhibit sponsored by Nordson Corporation. We highlighted each student and their art, HERE, if you missed it.

Listed below are the 11 artists' names, grades, school they attend, key recognition and of course, their artwork.
In addition, the four Gold Key entries are automatically considered for national awards, including Gold Medal, Silver Medal with Distinction, Silver Medal, and direct scholarship awards.

Southview Middle School--Gold Key:

Longfellow Middle School--Gold Key:

Of the 335 total pieces of artwork selected for the entire show, only 20 were selected from middle school artists. Of those 20 pieces, 11 were crafted by Lorain City Schools middle school students.
