Lorain City Schools will be closed for all students and staff on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, due to dangerous road conditions caused by freezing rain.
With due diligence, our Operations Crews have surveyed our community's driving and road conditions and found them hazardous for drivers and walkers. We ask that families stay off the roads as long as possible this morning, allowing city road crews time to make travel less difficult. Our top priority is the safety of our students, staff, and families.
