Principal's Corner

PRINCIPAL RODRIGUEZMrs. Amy Rodriguez was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. She attended Bowling Green State University, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in math. She then continued her education, receiving her Master's degree from Bowling Green State University in Curriculum and Instruction and her Principal's License from Ashland University.

Mrs. Rodriguez began teaching in the Lorain City Schools in 1998 and has taught most grades K-6. She served as an Academic Instructional Coach for three years, followed by two years as an Assistant Principal and one year as a Dean of Family and Scholar Engagement before continuing her leadership journey with the Lorain City Schools as the Principal of Admiral King Elementary.

Mrs. Rodriguez has two children and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She also loves animals and has a cat and a dog.
