The Lorain City School District (LCSD) Employee Concern Hotline Program was established to provide employees with a way to anonymously report serious concerns in the workplace through a third-party vendor. The intent of this Hotline is to ensure employees feel comfortable sharing concerns in the early stages, before the situation worsens. SACS Inc. employs expert professionals who routinely handle investigations.
Building Principals, Directors and/or Supervisors, and the Human Resources team will continue to handle the day-to-day, routine issues. However, employees will now be able to reach out to a third-party administrator, if uncomfortable with discussing their serious concerns with their Supervisor, Human Resources, or the Superintendent.
Please note that SACS Inc., is a fact gatherer only, providing the the Lorain City Schools with objective information. Employees may choose to use the Hotline to report all types of serious concerns, including, but not limited to:
- Sexual harassment
- Race, gender, national origin, and all other types of harassment
- Whistleblower concerns
- Retaliation
- Theft
- Violence in the workplace
- Safety and Security issues
The LCSD Employee Concern Hotline provides 24/7 coverage on a toll-free number. An automated voice messaging system is available after business hours and on weekends allowing employees to leave a message, which is promptly returned by investigation professionals.
Intake on the LCSD Employee Concern Hotline is handled by professionals at SACS who follow specific intake guidelines, but who also have latitude to use their knowledge and experience to ask critical follow-up questions when necessary.
